We are delighted that the new Student Union project at the University of the West of England has been granted planning consent.

BD Landscape Architects have been involved on the project for 18 months working with Hawkins Brown and the University Estates Department to deliver the first phase in the New Campus Masterplan.

The project includes significant areas of high quality public realm with a transition from east to west from the active urban ‘heartzone’ to more naturalistic parkland landscape with wildflower meadows and informal spill out spaces for students and staff.
